Diversity

In this lesson I have learnt about how diverse all of us are, but yet we can live together in unity. All of us are different in our own way and though we may be the same externally we might be different on the inside. But the most important thing is that we are able to communicate and cooperate with each other no matter how different we are.

What I enjoyed about the lesson was realizing each others' birthdays and learning about the pros of diversity.

Diversity can be beneficial when it comes to what we can learn from each other in terms of culture and knowledge.

English Homework-Communication

Communication is important as without it, a person will not be able to share his or her opinion with others. People will not be able to express their ideas or object without the use of communication.

My favourite forms of communication would be a face-to-face conversation, web chat and text messaging. I do not like using phones as I find it hard to hear the caller and phone bills are expensive.

I prefer to use chat when I plan to talk about more informal business like gaming or when telling other people bad news as I don't want to see their faces when they hear it. When there's a lot to disscuss i prefer a face-to-face conversation as its easier to explain and elaborate, I can also bring along materials for the discussion. For short messages I like to use text messaging as it saves more time to turn on the phone than to turn on the computer or arrange a meeting.

The difficulties I face when I am communicating with some one would be to get my point of view or opinion through as some people find it hard to do things with ways other than their's.

Activity 2: Tower Building

These are the slides I made with keynote for the tower building activity!

Day 1 Mac Attack 1 - Activity 4: End-of-Day Reflection

Today on the first day of the orientation week I have learnt more about the facilities at SST and its rules such as the 3R's and the 10C's. The PSL's and my form teacher, Mr Nooh, have also made me feel comfortable in the new classroom environment. I also have got to know my classmates better.

I chose to come to SST as I believe that their method of using technology to study is not only modern but effective. Using technology gives us students the ability to tap into an unlimited source of knowledge whenever we want to. Thus it is my belief that I would be able to achieve more with technology by my side. My aspirations as a member of the SST family is to do the school proud overseas of by scoring good results at the "O" levels

I think this picture best describes my growth as it shows that I am able to work with my group to get together and start the discussion.
